Alfie died today - he passed away in his sleep at 6am this morning. My dear loyal protector, I will never forget you.

I get quite of lot of emails asking me to upload some candid (unedited) images, so I thought I'd show you this one with my gorgeous Great Dane Alfie, taken during a break while shooting in France earlier in the year. Alfie has a pet passport, so I often take him with me when I go away (my bodyguard!).

Thanks! It's tough to lose an old friend. We dove right back in and now have these two goobers and another, all rescues. Can't seem to stay under 3 dogs at a time.....
