This has to be (categorically) the messiest shoot I've ever done (and that's saying something).
We emptied a huge bag of fresh earth into the studio bath (added a little bit of water - for consistency) I then covered myself in it - from neck to toe (it was freezing!) The mud went everywhere, all up the walls all over the floor haha... I was padding around the studio leaving little muddy foot & hand prints wherever I went.
But who cares about the mess, as long as the concept works - it's worth it. I'll upload a few more of them soon, some are very odd indeed.
(I'll leave it up to you to work out the symbolic undercurrent in this particular image).
yep! It's all about the end result. Well done to the both of you. Normally I'm not into large amounts of negative space, but in this case, I'll make this one an exception.
